Acne Extraction
Sandton Beauty Clinic has a signature acne treatment called the acne extraction that helps reduce breakouts drastically. We also teach you thereafter how to control them and can refer you to the necessary medical professionals for further consults.
The treatment is done over a month, you are required to come into the clinic at least once a week for an hour and three times a week for 10 minutes which will be explained further during the consultation.
We have treated various acne conditions and people from all age groups and ethnicities and have great reviews.
Acne and identification
The following are common types of blemishes associated with acne:
- Whiteheads/milia
- Blackheads/comedones
- Pustules, which are commonly called pimples
- Papules/pimples without a head
- Cysts
- Nodules
An acne extraction is a fast, relatively painless procedure. Depending on the size and depth of the lesion, the process should take no more than a few minutes to complete. If you have sensitive skin or a low pain tolerance, your provider may apply a numbing cream to the area to prevent discomfort, but that is typically the only pain relief our patients need. The treated area may appear red and swollen for the hours following the acne extraction, but this should subside within a day or two.
